CORINNE ROGERS

Corinne can’t imagine a life spent without the company of animals. Several years ago she rescued a German Short haired Pointer, Julie, and fortunately found Maureen to help with Julie’s many challenges. Corinne has taken Julie and her current dog, Black Lab, Emma, through all levels of obedience boot camps, forest and urban tracking, and odor detection with K9Leadership. She is now part of the Disaster Dog training group, and has begun to work for Maureen as a mentor in obedience classes. She has also been a puppy raiser for BC & Alberta Guide dogs.

From the time Emma was a wee puppy, Corinne introduced age-appropriate games and activities as part of training and walks. This has developed – and continues to develop – into urban agility, or barkour.
