Maureen Fielding, Founder and Trainer
Maureen Fielding is a trainer and tracking expert, instructing since 2007.
Since 2018, Maureen has been a Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) tracking judge, using her extensive knowledge of tracking, including wilderness, field, and urban.
Her dogs’ own accolades include a Champion Tracker (CT) title with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Tracking Champion TCH with the CKC with her previous GSD, Orrin von Bullinger.
Griffin was well known as the first Mixed Breed Champion Tracker in the AKC and CKC and a TDX with the Mixed Breed Dog Club of America (MBDCA) and the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) as a GSD GSP X. He was also an excellent search dog with two dog rescues.
Her students have won hundreds of tracking titles from the CKC, AKC, MBDCA, and ASCA.
Maureen enjoys coaching the dog task force for North Shore Rescue and Coquitlam Rescue as well as other members of the British Columbia Search Dog Association (BCSDA) from around the province in tracking for their upcoming tracking validation from the RCMP.
She adapts her collective knowledge from her years of experience into her private consultations and training programs.
Maureen is currently working with Kenya, her latest GSD, toward tracking and scent detection titles and hopes to step into the world of high drive competition obedience, taking her into new realms of training with technical detail and precision.
